Children made orphan's by war

We've ministered across Europe and especially Ukraine in the past four years of the war. One of the most heart moving experiences is to be with orphans that have been extracted out of cities that have been erased. There are older brothers and sisters taking care of younger siblings at this government orphanage that we visit at least two times a year.

We want them to know that they are not invisible or forgotten and that God will be a father to them. We have seen many of these dear children bow their heads in prayer and put their faith and hope in Jesus Christ as Savior.

In the photos above and below are two teenage girls caring for their younger siblings here at the orphanage. One day they were at school and the rockets came, now their lives are turned upside down. But, we are seeing Jesus put smiles on faces as much grace is flowing.

We always bring fresh fruit and other things kids like. We have total freedom to minister however we wish at the orphanage.

Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine outreach

This is a frontline city north of Crimea. We had four outreach locations planned. The outreach was very successful despite air raid sirens and a rocket actually exploding near one of the four outreach locations. Over 50 were saved by this outreach, Glory only to Jesus! Our fourth location had to be cancelled because of bombardment. we could hear the shelled in the distance. Our guides would not take us there. We had to separate into two separate groups for safety reasons.

One man in my van was taken into the military at a military check point. We had to leave him at the checkpoint and proceed to the village. Praise the Lord he was released and we picked him up when passing back through the same check point. The Ukraine government can take any man up to 7o years old off the street and send them to the front line.

Thankful for the volunteer team willing to risk their lives to bring humanitarian aid and the gospel of the Kingdom to the frontline of this horrible and devastating war. Because of our financial partners, these outreaches are taking place and Jesus is glorified.

I have an app on my phone that give real time air raid attacks. All in red are under attack. A missile hit during our outreach, but the people remained and not scattered as the sirens of first responders were heard loudly nearby. God touched many lives this day!

My friend Duchu, a gypsy pastor, brought his guitar. As he began to sing, people were brought to tears as the Holy Spirit moved. It is a great blessing to have music and worship at these outreaches.

Right after I took this photo of the outreach, a rocket exploded nearby. I must have jumped 6 inches off the ground.

Above: I had the opportunity to pray with people. These men would hold on to me even when finished praying and would not let go. They are starving for hope.

The two men standing with me are our guides to the frontline village outreaches. They would not take us to the last location because of bombardment. We could actually hear the shelling in the distance. They had us split into two separate groups for safety reasons and to work quickly.

Please keep these dear people in your prayers. We've seen God do mighty works of healing broken hearts and much repentance. These are our brothers and sisters in Christ and need our continual prayers for peace to come to Ukraine.

Sloviansk, Ukraine - Where the War Began in 2014. The frontline was visible from the outreach location.

Sloviansk is where the conflict began in 2014. God brought us here to minister healing and salvation in this war hardened region. Over 200 people gathered in this frontline town to hear the good news of the Gospel and receive humanitarian aid, prayer, handmade blankets, clothing and a lot of love. Over 200 food packets were distributed. Many people repented of sin and put their faith in Jesus Christ! Glory to God!

Pastor Joseph ministered the Gospel message and there was a great response. When the young ladies began to sing it was like a heavy load was lifted over the crowd.

We were invited by the local organizer to stay the night. We normally don't do this. Every moment in the frontline is an invitation for something to happen. Just a week earlier, two doors down from our host, a rocket hit their neighbors home and the blast blew out the window of the host home. There was a pile of glass out front when we arrived.

That night a ballistic missile hit the city and shook the house we were in. So, I slept with my boots on that night. I'm so thankful for the outreach team and the organizers, and most of all the presence of the Lord that changes atmospheres as we minister in His Name.

Brovary, Ukraine - Training Church Leaders

One of our heartthrobs is to equip and train leaders. Everything begins with leadership. The opportunity presented itself for me to train 100 leaders just near Kyiv. What blessed night it was to build up and encourage these Christian leaders who are hungry for God's word and ready to serve even in the time of war.

Battered woman and children's shelter- Brovary, Ukraine

My heart melted to be in the presence of these ladies and children who had been abused, and some are recovering alcoholics. We ministered Christ and His love to them as well as bring supplies to help support the ministry here. It was a great honor to pray over and bless the children. I tell people, "Pray for the children and the Church in Ukraine."

Ministry in Churches in various Cities

Praise God for the harvest! Altars full! People responding to the Holy Spirit and getting set from sin and bondage every time. We declare the Kingdom of God is at hand. We point to Christ and Christ shows up!

Pastor Joseph and His wife Tanya are great friends and partners in ministry. I met Pastor Joseph in 2015 while ministering at an Eastern European Pastors Conference. He invited me to Ukraine and I've come every year except the covid shutdown.
